Nothing more from Haiti overnight. It sounds as if the embassy is beginning to issue papers, so hopefully there will start being flights coming out of Haiti soon with orphans. Please pray for Hal and Chris as they work to process all the papers necessary at a chaotic US Embassy. It sounds as if Hal is working hard to find appropriate shelter for the kids that can't come right away- probably a good number of kids. Safe, strong and secure shelter is at a premium right now, so resource are definitely needed for HIS Home to continue. You can follow the HIS Home link to the website for giving options.
We will keep you as up to date as possible. God is on the move, the doors are opening.....
The supply team is at the Haiti border right now- they have permission to get through but wanted to wait until daylight to travel in Haiti- it is not the safest place in the world.....apparently the greatest need right now is diapers. I can only imagine.
