After months of struggling with our adoption agency, we received word that we are free to pursue our adoption independently. The agency has decided to end their contract with the Nungesters and to close their Haiti program. This news brings a bit of sadness as we would have liked to see more children find homes near us, but it is mainly a huge relief. The fear of our adoption being terminated is over. Our orphanage donation money is being delivered to Haiti after a long delay. We were given back some of the fees we had paid. A weight has been lifted. We are so thankful.

Hi...I just found your blog after praying that you had one...I fell in love with Baby Grace the moment I read her story on-line. I am so glad she has found a forever family and I've been meaning to e-mail you personally but haven't gotten to it...sorry!

Anyway, this post confuses me...you are still adopting both Daphne & Grace?

I'd type more but this is a quick comment before I head to bed!

Thanks for searching us out. Where did you read about Grace? We are still adopting Daphna & Grace. We were working with an agency, but after some financial struggles it has decided to close it's Haiti program. Fortunately we have become friends with the people who run our daughters' orphanage and we will be able to finish out the adoption with them. Thanks for your prayers.
